What exactly is a Couture for Kids Model? 

They’re more than runway stars—they’re young philanthropists with big hearts and creative spirits, using fashion as a platform to make a difference. Whether through lemonade stands, handmade bracelets, or simply sharing their stories, each Couture for Kids model is dedicated to supporting children’s brain health in meaningful, hands-on ways.

The University of Minnesota Foundation proudly presents the 2nd Annual Great Minds Couture for Kids fashion show—a stylish celebration with a powerful purpose.

This year, we aim to raise $150,000 to benefit the Masonic Institute for the Developing Brain (MIDB) and help fund the creation of a state-of-the-art sensory suite. Designed specifically for children with neurodivergent needs, this vital space will provide comfort, support, and personalized care for both patients and their families.

But this event is about more than just fundraising—it’s about inspiring the next generation of changemakers. Each model reminds us that every act of kindness, no matter how small, has the power to create lasting impact. 

It’s kids helping kids—through fashion, compassion, and a shared commitment to brighter futures.
